The list below shows the main documents we will be able to accept at the interview stage as evidence of your eligibility to work: A passport showing that you are a British citizen or a citizen of the UK and Colonies having the right of abode in the UK.
A passport or national identity card showing that you are a national of the European Economic Area or Switzerland. A residence permit, registration certificate or document certifying or indicating permanent residence issued by the Home Office, Border and Immigration Agency or UK Border Agency to a national of a European Economic Area country or Switzerland. A full birth certificate issued in the UK which includes the name s of at least one of your parents, and ii an official document giving your permanent National Insurance Number and name issued by a Government agency or a previous employer such as a P45 or P When will I hear if I have an interview for a Games Time volunteer role?
April — December Volunteer interviews will take place — for some specialist roles the process will continue into March — July Our training programme gets underway. April — August Volunteers will be provided with their Glasgow uniform and accreditation. April — August We will provide volunteers with details of their Games Time shifts. Can I volunteer if I require a support worker to help me perform my role?
Please note: It is your responsibility to arrange for your support workers presence when you need them — for example at interviews, training and Games Time Shifts. Your support worker will go through the same background security checks as you do as a volunteer.
Your support worker is there to help you as a volunteer and is not considered to be a volunteer in their own right. As a result they will not be given a Glasgow uniform or receive recognition items.
