In the transmission system of the forklift, the Clark Forklift Torque Converter supplies the rotational power to the submission which is generated by the engine. This is the combination of the fluid couplings which ease the movements with the help of hydraulic fluids. It allows the engine to function being more or less dependent on the transmission.

A Clark Forklift Torque Converter is constructed of three major components. There is a pump with a turbine and a stator. The turbine is like a circling wheel which is synchronized with the engine revolutions. Being at the center, the stator drives the motions of the hydraulic fluid of the turbine back before it strikes the pump again. When the hydraulic fluid strikes the pump, the engine gets slow and energy gets dissipated.

Again, when the forklift is not in operation, less fluid gets inside of the turbine and it lowers down its speed. The Clark Forklift Torque Converter is better than all other couplings only because of its excellent performance. But, frequent usage may cause some mechanical problems too. Sometimes when the turbine and the stator are not synchronized, there is a chance of wastage of power. The most common symptom of the faults in the converter is a little vibration when the forklift truck operates at a huge speed.

If the forklift stops with a vibration when the brake is hardly forced during raising acceleration, the malfunctioning can be ensured.
